Woven Ministry is a creative arts ministry found in Southeast Asia, born from a long-held dream to see people reconnect with God and each other through the beauty of the arts.
Formed through seasons of hope, grief, and calling, Woven is a space for growth—creative, spiritual, and personal. Whether you’re an artist, leader, or someone on a journey of healing, here you’ll find inspiration, grounding, and gentle transformation.
Through workshops, mentoring, music, visual arts, and digital content, we seek to cultivate beauty, creativity, and connection. Anchored in Scripture and led by the Spirit, we believe creativity is not a luxury, but a language of faith—one that reflects the goodness of God and invites others into His redemptive design.
What’s in a Name?
Woven was named to reflect the way God weaves all things together—stories, people, gifts, and seasons—into a tapestry of creative redemption. In Christ, diversity becomes unity, and broken threads become beauty. We are each a part of something greater: a living design stitched with purpose, grace, and love. Woven speaks of belonging, connection, and the artistry of a God who never wastes a thread.

About David & Shobana
David and Shobana are a young creative couple who have worked professionally in the arts for the past 12–15 years. Their journey has taken them around the world — especially through David’s international photography view his work here — while Shobana has recently expanded into the secular visual arts space, using her work to honour God, speak truth, and reach new audiences. Together, they launched Woven — a creative ministry rooted in the belief that beauty, truth, and community are vital for Kingdom impact. Their heart is to build a Spirit-filled, biblically grounded creative community across Southeast Asia, empowering artists to bring light into dark places. Having lived in Asia for the last 7 years, they are passionate about creating with purpose, serving with integrity, and helping others find their voice and calling — all for the glory of God.
